Ok ok, so Sparkle Motion mostly don't have beards. I was just looking at the Quizmaster, and looking at the Neuticles, and noticing a sharp physical similarity. Though in the past I have postulated that Josh's beard gives him wisdom, I don't really believe in magic. It is through a system of elective affinities that you have come to have beards and are interested in the same topics. What he sees fit to ask about seems to have heavy overlap with what you know about. If you shaved the beards, you would still be the type of guys who have beards, and the woman who married one. The beard-guy hegemony will only continue with Dr. Fact having the winning team write the questions. It seems democratizing, but we as participants are still locked inside of the esoteric knowledge sphere of beard-guys. If he truly wanted to shake things up, he would have the lowest-scoring team write the questions.
Disclaimer: I do not deny that you guys are smart, and I don't hate beards. I hate goatees and vandykes (goatees with mustaches attached).
