I'm taking votes, I'm taking names, my birthday is coming up again and I want to have one of them parties in a bar. On a Friday or Saturday, I'm too old to stay out late on weeknights. Though I haven't been in ages, I still love Sunny's in Red Hook and I feel like there would be enough space there. The problem is that it's hard to get to, which is why it's not crowded. I would consider Magnetic Field on Atlantic and Henry, but have never actually been there. Hmm, looks like at Magnetic Field some other lady is having her birthday party on 6/5, the night I want. 6/4 is some other "Ms. K" spinning "soul music." Soul means different things to different people. I officially can't really stand any of the places on Smith. My idea is that some people come over and we get food delivered (that will be my second time ever!) and then we get car service down to Sunny's. I just don't know whether that's feasible, I don't want to make it too difficult for the guests.
