I don't know what to write today so let's talk about shorts. I want to list them in order of length. Microshorts. Short-shorts. Jamaica Shorts. Bermuda Shorts. Walking Shorts. Clamdiggers. Capri Pants. Ankle Pants. Flood Pants. Pants. Pants that are too long. Does everyone agree? The other day I was bandying about this Jamaica Shorts idea and nobody had heard of them. I or my mother may have made this up. Also, my preferred short length is just above the knee. What is that called? Angus Young shorts? I have a problem finding ones that aren't all blousy and baggy. I want them narrow. Does that mean I need to always buy pants and just hem them? One day I was at H&M on 5th Ave and I went to Men's On Two because there's always a short checkout line, and there was an entire rack of narrow black Angus Young shorts, all in my size, for $9.98 I think. It was like a weird dream. I should have maybe bought all 50 pairs but I just got one, because it is a rough heavy twill fabric and I would really prefer a nice poplin. I invite your comments on this "hot" topic. Oh my god what a bad pun, I am so ashamed that it even crossed my mind, much less got written down.
